UKIP Scotland not functioning due to ‘special measures’

This party is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-party!!

Just come back from a long summer holiday. After sorting out a few other things I finally had a look to see what UKIP Scotland had been up to.

UKIP Scotland not functioning due to ‘special measures’

Whilst the article in the Herald is bad enough, the fact that it simple restates the appalling situation of the party in Scotland without any apparent change is much worse, because it shows that nothing whatsoever has changed.

There are now two remaining tests for the “party” before I declare it to be dead. These are:

  1. If as promised, they contributes to the referendum debate in any meaningful way (something that looks increasingly unlikely)
  2. Whether Farage comes up to Scotland before the referendum.
